The Other Side

Life seems too short
And I can seem to find myself
Time and time again I relive and die.
To ashes and from these I rise.

In between your thoughts I hide
And in your words I lie
Till the break of morning’s light
Until the shadows disappear from the great divide.

This pain I cannot deny
Has consumed me all.
It has taken over since day one.
But I cannot run and hide.

I’ll see you on the other side.
